For organizations
The best AI tutor for every kid. Not just the ones who can afford one.
Every student gets their own tutor, at any hour. They talk to it, share their screen, and watch the problem worked out on a whiteboard. It teaches. It does not hand over the answer.
Or email info@cantutor.ca
Accessible for all
A private tutor costs about $70 an hour. That is what decides who gets one.
The students who need a tutor most are the ones whose families were never going to book one. That is the barrier this removes.
Never billed per session
Inside a group plan, nobody counts questions. The kid whose family cannot spend $70 an hour gets the same tutor as the kid whose family can.
There at nine at night
Homework happens late, and the weekend before an exam. No booking. No waiting for Tuesday's slot.
On what they already own
Any modern browser. A Chromebook is enough. A student an hour from the nearest tutor reaches the same one as a student downtown.
Who we work with
Three groups, one conversation
Schools & districts
A teacher can re-explain a concept twice, not thirty times. This picks up where the period ends, at home, on the question the student is actually stuck on.Read the full schools page
Tutoring agencies & franchises
Your tutors are the product, and their week has a ceiling. We cover the between-sessions work — the practice set, the 10pm question — so a human hour goes to what only a human can do.
Corporate & employee benefits
Study support as a benefit, for staff upgrading a qualification or for their kids. One tool from grade 9 algebra to second-year statistics, so nobody re-buys it at the next life stage.
What you get
One account, the whole term
The same product, whoever buys it. Nothing held back for a bigger contract.
A tutor you talk to
Live spoken sessions with a whiteboard you both write on. Share a screen, or point a camera at the page in front of you.
100 subject areas
High school through second-year college: maths, the sciences, English, history, business, computing, the trades. One account covers all of it.
More than a chat box
Practice quizzes with worked solutions. Homework marked against the rubric it will really be graded on. Spaced-repetition flashcards, exam study plans, lectures transcribed into notes they can search, and progress they can see.
It teaches, it doesn't answer
The tutor works the problem through with the student, and says plainly that AI can be wrong and has to be checked. That is what decides whether a school lets it in the building.
Nothing to install
Any modern browser, Chromebook included, and it installs to the home screen as an app. There is a Chrome extension from our own site too.
Admin controls for your school
Manage seats, roster your students and see usage across your school from one dashboard, so whoever owns this internally can run it without coming back to us for every change.
Google Classroom, if you use it
Students connect their own account, and coursework and due dates come across. They can disconnect any time. A Workspace for Education tenant has to allowlist us first, and we walk your admin through it.
What your board will ask, answered short
- Live voice sessions are not recorded. No audio is stored. A text transcript is kept so the student can go back over what was covered.
- No ads, no ad profiling, and we do not sell personal information.
- We handle personal information under Canadian federal and Ontario privacy law, including PIPEDA.
- No SSO yet. Sign-in is an email and a password, with optional two-factor. No SAML, no SCIM. If your IT policy requires it, we are not there.
The detail is in our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and accessibility statement. Send us your privacy review and we will answer it.
Get every one of your students a tutor
One form, whether you are a school board, an agency or an HR team. It comes straight to us. We reply by email, usually within a business day, then set it up with you. If this is not right for your group, we will say so.
