24-hour unlimited free trial of Max. Card required; $39.99/month after unless you cancel. We will not send a reminder before the charge. The exact date and time are shown before you start, and cancelling takes one tap. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged and you keep access until the end of the trial. Cancelling is done from Settings → Billing on the website. The trial is offered on Max only; the other plans are paid from the day you subscribe.

Every plan comes in a monthly and an annual version with the same features and the same weekly credits. Annual is billed once a year and saves at least 17% against twelve monthly payments; each card above shows its own figure. Both renew automatically at the end of the period you chose until you cancel. Pick monthly if you are studying for one term, annual if you expect to be here for the year.

Cancel any time. On the website, go to Settings → Billing; you can also email support. If you subscribed through an app store, cancel in that store, because we cannot cancel a store purchase for you. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Fees are not refunded except where the law requires it or where we decide to give one; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will investigate. The formal wording is in the terms.

United States dollars. Prices on this page are in USD unless the checkout says otherwise, and applicable taxes are added at checkout. If you subscribe through an app store, that store shows its own price before you confirm, and that price may differ from the website price. Whichever screen you subscribe on, the price it shows is the price that applies.

A credit is the unit every feature spends from: live tutoring, homework help, quizzes, flashcards, grading and games all draw on one pool, in whatever mix you choose. Pro gets 1,400 credits a week, Max 2,000 and Ultra 3,300, and every plan has every feature; the plans differ in how much you can do each week, not in what you can do. Credits refresh every Monday, 00:00 ET. Unused credits do not roll over. It is not a token from an AI provider and it is not tied to any provider's pricing.

Yes, if you turn on pay-as-you-go, and only then. Off by default. With it off, features simply pause when your credits run out and nothing extra is ever charged. With it on, extra usage is charged at $5.77 USD per 1,000 credits, up to a monthly cap you set yourself (the default is $25.00); when the cap is reached, features pause until the next weekly reset. Nothing is billed until you've used more than $3.00 of extra credits — smaller amounts roll into the next bill. If you subscribed on the website you can also move up to a bigger plan at any time; the change is immediate and you pay the pro-rated difference for the rest of the current period.

If you subscribe through an app store, that store's price and billing rules apply and cancellation happens in the store; a subscription bought anywhere applies to the same account everywhere.

Not from this page: Pro, Max and Ultra are individual subscriptions, paid by the person who uses the account.
